ABOUT PRETTY RANGE
The inspiration for this range has come from my children. We have always been very conscious of building our children up, working with positive reinforcement, encouraging and supporting them.
We have a deep desire to bring our children up to be strong, empowered, confident and self-assured. We can only do so much to protect our children, especially as they grow older. By developing these qualities and strength from within we feel we are doing our best to keep them protected even when they are out in the big world faced with decisions and opportunities every day.
This range is all about building our children up from the inside, making sure they know their value and worth and focusing on the things that really matter.
We are also very excited and proud to say that we will also be donating $1 from every sale of this range to the Pretty Foundation whose mission is “To empower girls with the perspective, skills and support to develop and nurture a positive body image for themselves and others.”
You will notice the clear majority of the affirmations and quotes used in this range begin with "Pretty". The reason for this is two-fold;
1) Far too often children and even adults are referred to as pretty, remarks being made about their physical appearance without any thought or consideration to them as a whole being. We want to instil in all children that they are much more than just their physical appearance and their true beauty runs far deeper than their looks.
2) A tremendous amount of pressure is put on children to excel and be the best, while we believe in helping our children be the best they can be we also want them to know there is nothing wrong with being pretty good at something, rather than being the best.
These ideologies come from the roots of Pretty Foundation and being that they resonated so strongly with us and our beliefs we wanted to incorporate them into this range.
We have also been extremely fortunate to have some incredibly inspiring women and men design their own "Pretty" affirmations and decals. These women and men share personal stories, informative articles, helpful initiatives and genuinely encourage all of us on a daily basis so it only felt fitting to have some of these self-love and self-acceptance champions involved.

In line with this range and the meaning behind it we have created the hashtag #muchmorethanpretty – if you are ever sharing something that fits in with this belief please feel free to use this hashtag. Let’s create an inspiring, positive and uplifting space on social media that anyone can scroll through when they are having a tough day or need a gentle reminder of how special they are and where their worth lies.
As always, thank you so much for your support and in turn for supporting Pretty Foundation and helping to raise empowered children.
